Mercer County Marina Mercer County Marina

Victoria couldn't tell you how many times she and Kellen went to the marina for a date. Whether it was kayaking, paddle boating, people watching, or dinner by the lake, it was always an adventure. Tonight was no different.

Tonight, they were bringing dinner to the marina and eating while watching the boats. As per their usual dinner at the marina date, they stopped for amazing sandwiches at Dolce and Clemente. The first time they went there, they celebrated three months together. Looking back at it, they realized that three months was such a silly milestone to celebrate. But when they knew they'd be apart at school for six months and weren't sure that they'd survive to a year, three months seemed perfectly reasonable. They rented kayaks together and paddle boated around the lake. Sometimes, they would just bring a blanket and lay on the grass together. It didn't matter, every day at the marina was an adventure. Victoria thought back to the night they narrowly missed getting sprayed by a skunk and laughed.

On that particular night, they found themselves laughing at all the all star middle-aged dads playing frisbee. Obviously, they had accidentally crashed a family gathering. As they sat around the benches and watched all these highly unathletic men jumping and missing, they couldn't help but laugh realizing that this was just another funny story to add to the books.
