Victoria didn't know much about alpacas, just that they looked a bit like llamas and were supposedly adorable. But when Kellen suggested they go to an open house for an alpaca farm by his place, Victoria couldn't wait. Being animal lovers, Victoria and Kellen loved any opportunity to go meet some new animal friends. Upon arrival at the farm, they were greated by about 30 alpacas in all different sizes and colors. Even the baby alpacas were out to play. They continued into the farmhouse, looking at all of the alpaca products they could buy. The hats were adorable as were the sweaters, but starting at $40 just didn't seem worth it. Instead, they walked farther onto the farm learning all about the upkeep and maintenance of these curious animals.
Further on the farm, they grabbed handfuls of alpaca feed and started feeding the furry friends. They were amazed by how friendly the animals were and enjoyed getting to interact with them. As they were getting ready to leave, they thanked the owners and knew that they'd most definitely be back again next year.
